[img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] well I edited my post ...FWIW I didnt include EP only because there are hand (eg of the speculative type) that we can limp in EP in the right games but as soon as we start getting towards MP the number of potential limpers falls so EP limps can become raises or folds. meh, no biggie.

Ack. I typically open-limp 88, 77, QJs, KJs, and sometimes KTs in EP (the table shouldn't be too tough to open limp those suited broadways). And there are tables where I also occationally open limp AK and AA in EP when I think the others are picking up on my open limping in EP and start to punish me by raising frequently.

actually if you cap every hand preflop you will probably be able to peel on just about any flop with any hand!

Amp, so I think we are in agreement, no? anyway there are always exceptions and variations but I just wanted to drive home the point that open limping when you get closer to the button is rarely correct. word.
