Don't know if you want to answer this, but how much have you dropped at PS since the beginning of 06?

Makes sense to quit playing at the one site you never win at no matter what the reasons may be, it's atleast on a psychological level & that may be affecting your game adversely.

Closing your account is that much relief to you?
Weird.

Probably about 20K. But I haven't played much at Stars since 05. Will probably go back though, just cause they have such good customer service.

Op,

Sounds to me like your decision is irrational. I would think you have just had your first real "downswing" in five years. Just wait till you get to wpex. That program can drop some real bombs. I would think you would WANT to play at Stars when people call two bets cold with trash draws. That's how you make your money. You just aren't liking the fact that they keep hitting them. Isn't that luck? (something you don't believe in).

I wouldn't have closed the account, but moving to another site to change things up isn't a bad idea. But, for heaven's sake, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!

I don't think you can ever close an account. The site would just put it in an inactive status. All information is kept. If you ever go back, thenit takes a simple phone call to reactivate your account.

If someone says they're a problem gambler, or they mail and say "please close my account and never ever let me reopen it, no matter what", they aren't coming back.
