Looks like I'll be playing Event #'s 2, 3, and 4. I won't be around for the Main Event, but if lightning strikes, I might stick around for the $1k.

I'll post some of the info I PM'd Chauch:

Some quick info.

The cash games currently are 3-6 up to 5-10 LHE, and 1-2 and 2-5 NLHE. The NLHE are GREAT games currently. Lots of bad play. VERY passive except for a few guys who are very aggressive.

The tournament play by the locals is awful. Tons of weak tight play. There will obviously be some people who are better that come into town for the circuit, but the locals will be awful in general, and VERY unused to a better structure, since the local tourneys right now suck for structure, and turn into allin fests early.

I really dont know anything about the tourney right now, as they have to released structure or anything yet. But hopefully it'll be atleast 60 minute levels.

Nick

They also run a 5/10 NL 2 days a week, but I forget which those are, I think Thur. and Sat. I'm sure they might run this game a lot during the circuit event if there is demand for it. They've also run 5/10 PLO before. I can confirm the NL cash games are pretty juicy. I booked back to back $1500 nights playing 2/5 NL for about 7-8 hours each night.

BC is a local thing. You'd know if you played at the BC, but BC is an abbreviation for something else.

airport and old market are just across the river from the horseshoe. cab ride might be 5 miles total, probably less than $10.

and remember, the circuit event is at the horseshoe, not harrah's. if you tell the cabbie "harrah's", you will end up at the wrong casino.

Chief,

Thanks for the info on the games currently being spread.

Do you think the limit games will grow to 15-30 or 30-60 by Friday (I arrive Friday midday)?

Are there any mixed games?

Also, do you think they'll spread a 5-10 NL game?

Edit: sorry just saw Patsy's post dealing with my questions.

thanks river I am staying at harrah's so that is why I was asking about that. I just was trying to decide on renting a car or not but for some reason the cars seem really expensive guess I am just use to $20 a day cars in vegas I think I will save some cash and just cab it.

Harrahs has shuttles that should take you from there to the Horseshoe. It's prob a 5 minute drive.

The only mixed game that ever runs is 20/40 HO. I've never seen anything other than Hold em or Omaha run. Nothing higher than 20/40 runs as far as limit. 5/10 is the biggest NL game. Maybe that will grow this week. I will post and let you know what's running this week.
