my girlfriend (with some help from one of our carpenter friends) built me a bar a few years back. that was really impressive. came with a full set of glasses, bar gear and a bottle of whisky.

Got: Flying Lessons.

Gave: When my nephews were much younger I gave them a whole stack (about 20) of Disney DVD's. They unwrapped them and thought that it was the best present ever (best uncle also [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]). This was until 30 seconds later they realised they didn't own a DVD Player(brand new technology at the time).

There were tears.

Of Course the next box opened contained the DVD player. Two happier kids have not seen (best uncle ever returns [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]).
