Girl Can't Name All the Continents?!

Knowing the names of the seven continents is not really random crap. It's pretty simple geography.

In order to have a more complete understanding of the history of the world/current events it is very important to know geography. Other than on some type of weird game-show, I failed to think of a situation where naming the 7 dwarves are of any importance. This said, I understand your point of view, as all throughout school I kept asking; "When am I gonna use this later in life"

Not that I disagree, but what was the last time you had to know all the continents. I'm pretty sure I've more recently been asked to name all the dwarfs.

Also, it might not be a matter of intelligence, but rather a matter of what she was taught. I know that I had them drilled into my head since first grade; maybe this wasn't the case for her.
