Do you still believe they are done, or did the eagles beating a crappy team and the giants losing to a good one change your opinion?

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you explain? I think it's a lame sarcastic jab, but it makes so little sense that I can't tell.

I would get rid of McChoke given his contract, and the fact that he is definitely a choker. The team had their chances, and he simply didnt perform when he needed to. Is he one of the top 5 QBs in the league? Obviously. But the time to win as an Eagle for him has gone by.

If you are gonna call people rediculously ignorant, you could spell the word right.

And you will replace him with...who??

Their losses this year were due to:

Turnovers
Stupid penalties
Reid being a passaholic

If Morhinweg is allowed to call a decent number of running plays the rest of the season they have a shot at 10 wins, and with the Giants injury problems the Eagles could yet end up on top.

And yes, I'm an Eagles fan, so I am not objective.

That's a big uphill climb; too many things have to happen. The Giants won the division when they won in Dallas IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not missing 8-9 starters. IF, that is IF the Eagles win in NYG, they would be in the driver's seat. Toomer is gone for the year, probably Petigout also, Eli looks awful as it is, will Tiki really give 110% his last few games, or be worried about getting hurt? Etc.

i see them finishing 9-7 at best with the remaining schedule

[/ QUOTE ]

At best? You are on crack.

Wash sucks
NYG is missing half their team.
Atlanta just lost at home to Cleveland.
Carolina is losing to TB.

They certainly could go 5-2 for 10-6. Indy almost lost to Houston and needed a missed FG by Buffalo [the ones that have been made against the Eagles from 62 this year] to win at home. Dallas lost to Wash last week. Etc.

you said it was done. All that has happened is what i said (beating bad team losing good team). has your opinion changed? Or do you think the Eagles are still "done" in the division.
My point is obvious.

How bad are the defenders hurt? Toomer I don't think is a big loss; Petigout hurts.

The Colts didn't need a missed FG to win fyi.

I probably shouldnt have said it like that, they could go 10-6, i just dont see it happening. They WILL be 2-2 at best in their remaining road games IMO with 1-3 being very possible, and that would leave them needing to win all 3 of their remaining home games which I think is harder then everyone is making it out to be.
