I'd consider turning down gin that came from a plastic bottle, but even then it's iffy.

I've considered plunking down for a bottle or two of finer vodkas, one potato, and one made from grapes, actually. When I get around to it, I'll post a thorough review of them compared to Fris, my current staple.

Vodka is more subtle than whisk(e)y.
Ketel One is very smooth and crisp with a very slight citrus aroma and flavor.
Stoli has a little more heat than the K1 is more earthy with a slight grain flavor.
Absolute is a little oily I always mix it.
Luksusowa is rather creamy and sweet and with a little burn.
