I met and worked with Cal Ripken Jr. too for a day on a bodyguard gig. That same night I bumped into Dustin Hoffman, Whoopi Goldberg, Pierce Brosnan, and saw Nick Nolte, Michael Moore and a few TV celebs. These people are a lot smaller in person except for Michael Moore who is really fat.

Mikhail Gorbachev, George H. W. Bush, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, Mike Modano, Brett Hull, and Lee Trevino probably all qualify as greatness.

More minor celebrities: many Dallas Stars, Kenny Rogers (the pitcher, not The Gambler), Tony Casillas, Jason Sehorn, Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler, Darrin Erstad, Lee Janzen, and surely some others I can't remember. I worked at an extremely high-end golf course for about a year and a half, so nearly all of these encounters happened there.

Talked with Thurman Thomas (was very short) Andre Reed (insanely built) Bruce Smith (didnt think he was so big, but I'm an egomaniac) this was back in 1996 ish after.

Played 1 year (freshman) Div III football with R-Kal Truluck who was a 30yr old rookie with KC then played 2 years w/ GB as speed rusher.

Worked security for both Howie Mandel and They Might Be Giants while going to college, briefly met them both
