Ok here's the research I've done.

Sweden is an expensive place to live so I started there.

Go to www.google.com
Go to preferences
Set it to search for only webpages written in Swedish.

Do a google search for American cars like Corvettes, Mustangs, Dodge Rams, Vipers, etc. Try adding the word Saljes and Forum to your search.

That brought me to this site
http://www.allaannonser.se/hitlist.php?k...amp;x=0&y=0
Some things you should know, their mileage is in "mil". Multiply it by 6.2 to get U.S. mileage. The Exchange rate is about 7.2 Kronor per dollar, so divide their price by 7.2 to get price in U.S. dollars.

It looks like 07 Escalade's in Sweden are going for between 105k-110k
At autotrader.com in the U.S. they are between 60k-65k

I called one of the shipping places and they ship from a port in GA to a port in Sweden for 1100. To get a vehicle transferred from where I live in Louisiana to Georgia it's 600. Insurance for shipping is 1.5%

Seems like a good deal to me. Why aren't there more people doing this? I'm gonna keep doing research.

What are the regulations like in Sweeden regarding licencing foreign vehicles? Do you have to modify any exhaust system parts, ie cadilitic converter, or any instrument panel features. I think the biggest hurdle in this business is likely getting someone to sell it for you on the other end, I think this contact is the most the difficult one to aquire. Thanks for posting your research.

The guy I talked to said the $1100 included all taxes and tarriffs. He didn't mention and I didn't ask about any exhaust or other modifications the car needed in order to be street legal over there though.

Eihli excellent information with Sweeden. We'll be in touch. I've been bogged down with work from my other company but I'll get cracking on this over the weekend and soon be putting something together.
