ahhh, btw, that table tonight you sat at for like two seconds and said was gold, WAS gold, i banked left with like 2k... guys kept coming with like 150 and 225 dollars and sitting and just DONATING it was fantastic.

the table was you a 400 stack, and 3 people with <80. i dont like that at all

Okay - I'll stick my neck out with the dumb-dumb question. I'm in the same situation with deathly boring full ring grinding that, while easily beatable, is painful.

What are the main factors in switching to 6max after learning the game from full ring nl? How much do I change my hand ranges and play with those ranges?

On the plus side, I feel pretty confident in my marginal flop play, so that's a start..

Step 1) Pretend that the first four positions under the gun aren't there. Thats the easy way to adjust preflop
Step 2) Raises will be called more and reraised more than you're used to. So, in situations where you'd normally be scared to get some action (like, "his line is always a set in fullring"), you shouldn't worry as much about it. But you'll figure that out as you go along. Learn to love the action you're getting, not fear it.
