his line matches AA,KK,AQ,JJ,AT as much as it matches a bluff. [/ QUOTE ] But a bluff could be, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, or even the dreaded 4T. Mathematically speaking, the odds are in our favor.. mathematically, that is. |

i think its an incredibly standard check/fold
if he has garbage we win by check check anyway so i don't see the big deal about trying to bluff here |

Well the whole point is when he has something in between which some people here think is highly likely. I think garbage is not even a question by now, he either has AT AQ KQ JJ AA KK TT. But we can proably get him to fold AA KK AT hands. I just personally dont think thats what he has after the turn action.

dustbustr: We NEVER win a check/check here (because he NEVER has garbage). And as ahnuld is saying, the hands we could fold out are AA/KK-type of hands, hands I don't think fit well w/ turnaction as I explained above.
I feel this is a monster much more often than not, and I give up. |

[ QUOTE ]
Pretty unlikely line (ck behind, minraise turn) for boat at this limit/these skilled players. It's more of a pot-control play generally. [/ QUOTE ] I think they will mix up how they play their big hands at this level. If he thinks his opponent expects him to bet a Q on the flop then he probably would check. I don't get the pot control scenario with AA etc. Wouldn't he just call turn if he wanted to keep the pot small? Maybe he raised to induce a bluff re-raise expecting his opponent wouldn't give him credit for a Q. Not sure if that makes sense. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure he plays 93 like this, personally I would just push the turn but I wouldn't fault anyone for just calling hoping to take the pot away later. 22 is definetly possible trying to induce another bluff on the river. T4 would be sick cooler but I'm not that worried. |

Very interesting guys. Let's make his preflop-reraise include ranges of 93, 23 and so on and we'll probably get very far in our analysis!
Jeez. |

The fact that you have to ask if that was a joke makes me a little sad about my poker ability, but thanks, Prev.
