Killing a dog isn't that hard, when he jumps up at you to bite your face off simply put your arms in between his front legs and then bring them apart really quickly, this breaks some crucial part of the dog's anatomy apparantly and it dies pretty quickly.

This is obviously easier said than done. Also, if you attempted but failed to execute this move, the fight would probably end rather quickly.

My initial impression was that the dog should be a favorite, primarily because the human's margin for error is so small. Once the pit gets a hold of your neck or head, the fight is effectively over. A human would need to string together a series of successful counter-attacks to win the fight.

Pitbull -180.

I heard somewhere if you are ever attacked by a dog you give it one arm (since it will most likely get a piece of you anyways). With one arm in the dog's mouth you put your other arm behind its neck. Then you quickly push the arm behind the neck forwards, and the arm in the mouth backwards. The dog's neck is broken...end of story.

Good luck with that.

Let's put a face to the man.

Gimme odds on a normal pit bull vs:

a) Ron Artest 3:2 underdog vs pitbull
b) Mike Tyson 3:1 favorite, like a pitbull, pain won't faze him and he'll bite too....plus he can punch. Hard.
c) George W. Bush 15:1 against, probably less likely though
d) Tom Cruise 12:1 against, if he starts that scientology crap, could be a major upset
e) Oscar de la Hoya 3:1 against

No chance. Well, maybe a 100-1 chance.

I'd want a martial arts master to fight 3. Bruce Lee would still be a heavy underdog, though.

Yeesh...I don't think Mike can handle several opponents at once. Unless he had some gang fights in prison to provide that experience (and who would willingly fight Mike Tyson for free?) I think he's an underdog. I kinda picture him choking or beating one dog to death while the other two knock him down and bite his neck. The only thing that may save Mike is if the pitbulls start attacking each other instead. Going by the "how many five year olds" standard that the assailants are working in concert, I'd put Iron Mike at a 4:1 underdog here.

EDIT: now that I think about it some more, I'm giving Mike too much credit at 8:5. 100:1 seems too much of a longshot, and you won't get any action from guys betting on the dogs.
