if you pot riv for 140 are you calling a c/r all in for 160 more getting 4:1 after his strange line? (pf, psb lead, check, check, all in?) in order for me behind he'd have had to stab at the pot on the flop, check twice, and thinking i am restealing, c/r the river all in.

If he makes that play with nothing often you will get paid. You are telling him that you will call his all-in when you bet that much on the river. If he pushes he has you beat.
