and lol at basketball. each team scores 40 times in a game. so each score means nothing. fact - football is the best. it's worldwide popularity says so. if you were any good at it... you'd like it.

soccer is the best worldwide because most of the world is impoverished and it doesn't cost much to play with it. if baseball equipment/football equipment were even remotely cheap, soccer wouldn't be anywhere close.

Beckham will probably be disappointing to the casual viewer, because, aside from the free kicks, his skills (accurate passing, workrate) aren't really THAT noticeable if you aren't familiar with the game.
