Well it isn't exactly free since you have to pay to get Spike, but even still, since when does that mean you have to be happy to see an inferior show? I guarantee each and every one of you has at some point complained about a free network tv show so stop complaining about my complaining.

Lister/Marquardt might be a good fight, but I'm only interested in Lister. Marquardt's first UFN fight (or was it a TUF finale?) was boring enough to kill my interest in him.

Lister is cool, but his rubber guard work is being outdone lately by Shinya Aoki. He needs to step up and impress

Apparently Spike TV thinks that Marquardt/Lister will be a snoozer, they forced the UFC to move it to the undercard so it might not even get on the air.

Well we know the Rashad-Salmon fight has a good chance of going the full 15 minutes, but Franca-Fisher and Herring-O'Brien have a good chance of being finished early; among those 4 fighters, they have a combined 5 wins by decision in their careers. So hopefully we will get to see Marquardt-Lister.

BTW, Franca-Fisher is for a title shot against Sherk (according to Sherk) so that should definitely be an exciting fight.

thats why i can't wait for the time when ufc moves to hbo and dumps spike, who lumps them in with fake wresting and shows like mxc. give the sport some legitimacy already

That was probably one of the more entertaining Figth Nights for me.

I really like Hermes. Give him a title shot. Nice fight.

Wow, Herring sucked. I can't believe Goldberg called Herring "a class act" after he whined about O'Brien not fighting standup. Join K1 if you don't want takedowns [censored]. Rogan's ripping on Herring was hilarious though. "100-0 jui-jitsu match"...LOL. I'm going to keep an eye on O'Brien. Nice wrestling skills, although he needs to get better at his submissions.

That was a sick rear naked choke to armbar transition by Ed Herman. Absolutely sick. He sorta annoyed me on TUF, but I like his fighting style.

And Rashad's headkick...where did that come from? Most entertaining Rashad fight I have seen. He's starting to win me back after boring me for so long.

Herring was really, truly terrible. Never seen a big-name fighter get taken down so easily like that -- he hardly even put up any resistance. O'Brien definitely needs to work on the subs as he repeatedly got himself into superior position (mount, back, side control) but found it difficult to do much damage.

I still wasn't very impressed with Rashad, but man that was a doozie of a headkick. He was losing on the cards up until the point he nailed Salmon with the head kick. I think the problem I have with him is that he seems fairly unremarkable, but if he keeps finishing opponents he has a good future.

Hermes/Fisher was very, very entertaining. Fight of the night.
