anyone know how much money a "good" ratholer can make? I assume that they can play a lot of tables because they never have to think past preflop.

The funny thing is that posts like this actually encourage ratholing. HS players biotching about it draws attention to how it must be +EV for opponents to play this way.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looks like all our biotching and complaining might actually result in the extinction of ratholers.

guess it's time to set up accounts under my sisters and cousins names lol

That's what I was thinking would happen. Also there are other sites...say...play party, then stars, then UB, then back to party or something like that.

Also I can see a lot of ratholers playing 1K's, then moving up to 2K's, then dropping back down to 600's, back to 1K's then 2K's etc. etc.

I think the only way party stops short stack ratholers is to just make 50 bb's the min buy in..and then "ratholers" are just going to be part of online poker but at least we'll get rid of the shortstack ratholers. (they're the only ones that give me a headache) at least a 100 bb ratholer plays 'semi real' poker.

there is such an advantage to short buy ins because if you pick up a hand...you stack is so small relative to any one else if they have a semi hand...it gives them odds to call..if they are best x times in ten. I dont do it but, just remember that most of them are pushing it with a semi good hand so just don't call or pay them off...
