What death affected you most?

My cat when I was 6. I'm very fortunate to not have lost many people around me over the years.

Nobody close to me has died yet. But I was very affected when half a dozen of my friends came down with cancer within five or six months. Luckily, none of them died. But it did feel pretty damn bad for a good long while.

My grandfather died when I was 4. Otherwise, that's about it.
