Are you serious about this?

I was under the impression that if OOT were real life, I would have been lynched by now. I didn't think anyone agreed with me on just about anything, much less everything.

Anyway, tuna blech.

It's probably because most people in the real world disagree with me a lot too

KidColin: I far prefer steak over tuna.

FWIW, I didn't really like tuna until I had it from a good restaurant. The trick is to sear it to just the right texture, and slice it into small bites.

anyone else notice that the highest "easy to prepare : good to eat ratio" would be something like eating your own [censored]?

probably comes out to like 877/0.1 = 8770 that's pretty high.

If you want a reasonably impressive meal, this works.

some chicken (boneless, skinless breasts work, but boneless skinless thighs are better)

1/2 bottle of beer (or can...doesn't really matter)

1 small can tomato paste

1 small can pimento-stuffed olives (approx 7 oz, anything from 5-9 works)

Pour into crockpot. Stir. Turn on high for 2.5 hours or low for up to 7. Serve over rice.

Terrific and Very Simple Guacamole (aka food of the gods):

some avocados
1 slice red onion per avocado
1 slice tomato per avocado
salt and pepper (salt lightly because most people eat it with chips)

guacamole note: if making it in advance, seal the plastic wrap right up against the surface of the guacamole to avoid discoloration...this will work up to a day.
