Burd should have moved on well before this. I once had a dream to be a Chopper Pilot on a 300' Coast Guard Cutter but have since realigned dreams. I said before -- dream girls are moving targets.

Oh well, girl already told Burd what her thoughts were (see above). Life's too short to be a whiny emotional sensitive dude and get caught up in constant drama.

There are two scenarios that play out:

1. There is more whining, and drama. Burd continues to lust after unattainable "dream girl" and now hates pseudo-friend and stays miserable.

2. Burd forgets about it and moves on with his life and points his stinger in the direction of a new dream girl.

In ten years, he will regret only one of these scenarios.

No. Based on other stuff the dude has written, it sounds like the dude is a douche, and maybe would have even made a move on this chick later, who knows. But the way things went down, with hot little sister of ex-gf jumping into his bed while he's buzzed, I don't think you can really blame this guy for this specific situation based on what we know. We have no idea whether or not he tried to resist or how hard. All we know is that he had been drinking and the girl went into his room, presumably intending to hook up with him, after he had gone to bed.
