.. just curious - have you posted exactly what you just said with the exact same quote before?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the first time I've posted that quote because I just found it from Phzon in response to that particular article. I was going to type it before I read the quote, and in other threads I have stated my opinion that SSNL has a tendency to overthink and fall victim to FPS. But this quote is new and I thought it would nicely supplement how I feel cause nobody ever listens to me

Just to reiterate:

Don't go crazy with this stuff at SSNL. You're going to get yourselves into a lot of trouble against the typical SSNL player. Keep it in mind for when you move up but please don't start reraising with 56s in your 25NL game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, it's important to take this stuff into context. As AJfenix points out:

[ QUOTE ]
Just as the solid grinder is preying on the fish to pay off his big hand, the 30/20 in the 10/20 Party game is preying on the solid grinder's leaks.

[/ QUOTE ]

Our primary goal in SSNL is to become a solid grinder. Later we add these things to out arsenal, but not before we build a very solid foundation.

I think it was a good post, but it might not be very useful for SSNL. However it is useful to know that as we move up and our competition gets better we need to change certain aspects of our game.

Getting overaggresive with reraising preflop does not seem like the highest +EV option in SSNL, especially when the opponent fails to notice just how thight your reraising standards are.

Again i might be underestimating my opponents at 100NL, but getting to fancy is a leak at the lower levels IMO.
