I keep 40-50 total (about 15 on Party and the rest in Neteller). I can't put any of it in an interest-bearing bank because Neteller will take all of my profit through exchange fees (it's linked to a Canadian bank account). I tried to fix this by using Firepay, but Firepay just blows really hard.

BTW, to the people that have part of their roll invested, what do you do when you need to get at that money? Do they allow you to add/subtract money from your investment accounts? How does that work?

Call up fidelity, they're who I use, and they're AWESOME! (for mutual funds, all are no load)

If you want a good discount broker, use scottrade!

Deposit into party, cash out from party into your canadian chequing account. It works very well.

I do that already. My problem is with the 60k I have sitting in Neteller doing nothing. I can't funnel that into my chequing account because that means I pay exchange fees if I go busto and have to move it back through Neteller.

yeah that is a problem, i'm just saying party pokers eft transfer system has a much better fee than neteller's horrible 1.9%. Also, i really try to keep as little money in american dollars as possible cause it just keeps dropping =(.

1) It's pretty easy to pick some mutual funds that will give you an easy 10% return/yr.

Cash out a substantial amount from Party to your checking account through IGM Pay. Replace the amount with a deposit from Neteller. If you need to redeposit, just use IGM to get it directly onto Party.

Can you avoid the exchange fees by linking your Neteller account to a USD chequing account? Or is it an Electronic Funds Transfer fee that we're talking about here?
