Re: 50/100 6-max
that flop is so drawless theres no point not to wait until the turn to raise so you get extra money. villain wont think you have trips. It wont even cross his mind. still on the river, depending on his hand, he may look down and see that he does infact have a full house, so you might not want to raise the river after he puts you on KK.

wow [/ QUOTE ] I don't get this post? 1) Did I do something 'obviously' wrong and I didn't deserve to post here yet you spent the time to reply? 2) Were you the villian? 3) Did you just want Post Count to = Post Count + 1 Results: Villian showed down JJ for the flopped full house. Villian then insulted me so I quit said something like "Thanks for the money fish". I never play 6-max and it seems like whenever I do this is what happens. But not one to believe in luck, I decided to believe Villian and that I am a fish at this game. So I posted. |

Re: 50/100 6-max
This was my thought process.
On the flop, I'm happy to keep SB in the hand. Turn: Now there is a straight draw out there and the pot has gotten large, so if SB has something like AK I want him to pay 2 bets to see the river. The turn cap leads me to believe villain has: AQ, AA, KK, QQ, JJ all equally likely. I'm ahead of almost all of these, but am way behind 6 combinations (all the QQ and JJ's). So I raise the river, once I get 3 whacked I know I lost, but I can't lay this down. (Only need a 5% chance of AA or KK for the laydown to be wrong anyway). ------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for the replys all. |

River raise is super bad cuz ur usually beat and yo ushut out the overcaller. [/ QUOTE ] That's pretty much it. When SB 3-bets and UTG caps the turn he has to give credit to one of you. |
