[ QUOTE ] Would anyone consider raising again on the flop? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I would have. I would have 3 bet anybody bar the relatively inactive pre flop 3 bettor. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: A spew or sound acting on a read.
i think it's reasonable to consider a cap preflop.
as played, why not c/r the flop? you have good position relative to the pf 3bettor and you are well ahead of his range that point. |

[ QUOTE ] whats your read on MP3's 3-betting standards? [/ QUOTE ] No specific read, I had not see him get to showdown, nor had he been a particually active player. [/ QUOTE ] I probably take a line that maximizes going to showdown against this player. Not sure if I like the lead on the flop. Is that supposed to be some sort of donk bet for information? |

Re: A spew or sound acting on a read.

Raise the flop when given the chance by the desperation move by BTN. The board is kind of drawy and you got two villains who act like they are on a draw in a nice sized pot. Extract the value and folds are not that bad. Build the pot so they stay in with their gutshots or worse pairs or worse Ax. Given your read I think you can call-down bar maybe the 4th diamond. Edit: Flop c/r would probably work here if pfr is at all aggro. It's checked to him and he's second to last to act on the flop. The board has paired = it's hard to hit. There's the Q represent. -> He'll bet often enough. |
