I have no idea how Washington isn't ranked higher

Well they are in the Atlantic 10. I'm honestly surprised they are ranked higher than Ohio State considering how good the Big Ten is this year.

Just a guess, but I think you are talking about different teams.

2- dropping a team for losing one game is silly

[/ QUOTE ]

How about for losing two in the same week? Pitt lost to two likely tournament teams this week and dropped seven spots. As we both said though, good thing polls don't matter.

They have five losses in a pretty weak conference, including two really bad ones to Washington St., and played a terrible out of conference schedule.

I know we'd move up the rankings but damn. A first place vote??? It looks as though an ACC final appearance gets the Heels a #2 seed.

Fortunately, Gary Williams doesn't fill out the NCAA tournament brackets.

They are the champs until somebody knocks them off.

No loss to a team like the mighty Cougars of WSU is a bad loss. WTF.

But seriously...

It's more that the Huskies have been on a roll as of late, and are playing super amazing. I don't know where they should be ranked, but "above UCLA" would be a nice start.

I assumed he was talking about George Washington (26-1), and they are in the A 10.

They are ranked above UCLA, though I'm not sure it's justified (don't listen to me though, I'm biased)
