I dance when river card hits and dance more when I get raised here. If villain has exactly JJ, that's tough, but he'll have AJ and other PPs here too, I think. Checking the turn is goot.

He has AJ/KJ/QJ/JT/55/22 way to often and will call a push with most of his range. Ship it !

[/ QUOTE ]

Do 8/5.5 players really cold call w/ KJ,QJ,JT here? Even 55/22 seem like a stretch for a player w/ stats like that.

Still, though, I agree w/ shove here.

That was one thing I thought about, too.

Easy shove and yes 55/22 is definitely in range here.

I know this sounds strange and I hope you guys are not falling from your chairs because you laugh so heavily.
So my question: should we stick to our first thoughts (thought does not sound as sissy as feeling) at least sometimes?

[/ QUOTE ]
So your first feeling was to put him on JJJJ only?

Any other J-5 crap is not in his range.

Shove here, fairly easily. You can't simply worry about quad J's, and as stated nothing else that beats us fits his normal range. If you're beat so be it, but this is 55/AJ/KJ way too often to just call.

Normally, I never worry about quads but here with this strange line, yes sabr, my first feeling put him on JJJJ. I just though that he would raise every other hand somewhere along the way, but with quads people are so afraid of losing customers that they (correctly?) c/c to the river before they put it in a strange raise...Sick hand...

Why are you even worried about quads? You have FIVE 7s. Quints destroy quads all day long. Get that [censored] in and ship it over JJJJ.
