Re: wait the river with a straight ?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] On the turn Utg waits 10s before 3 bet. [/ QUOTE ] Because he caught his flush. Classic timing tell. [/ QUOTE ] I'm quite sure, this guy c/r the river with king high or nut flush, so we gain nothing in this case, if we 4bet the turn. But if there is a river with a king, a queen or a jack, we have less than 50% of equity imo and far more than 50% with a blank. So that's the advantage to wait the river imo. [/ QUOTE ] but he is less likely to call a raise on river than on the turn |

Re: wait the river with a straight ?
don't be afraid of the flush. He's a 25/17 that raised UTG and c/r a KJ8 flop. He doesn't have many flush draws in his range. Many more 2pr/set combos out there. If he still leads river after I cap the turn, I would just call.

I have a better equity on the river than on the turn so I raise the river. He's not stupid, so he check raises the river with the nut flush if I 4 bet imo. |
