Re: Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl
I don't understand what you mean?
If I have AJ here and I bet out and he calls and a spade hit and now you wonder if I fold? Obv I fold if he shows me what he need to show me to represent the flush. If I doubt him I might call him down hoping for a cheap show down, or if I don't believe him I keep fire on. |

Re: Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl
flop bet is o.k. - I usually bet 80% or [2.35] = 2 on drawyish flops. Turn 90% time vs unknown c/fold but double barrel o.k. if you had some reads - same with the way it was played your ace high might be good but you haven't posted any reads. READS == $$$ vs shorties gelford gave me some good advice -play preflop and flop push/get AI/fold vs them. |

Re: Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl
Wawaweewa??
I'm betting 3/4 - 4/5 pot on flop w AJ. He has to make 10 off me to make calling a $2 flop bet profitable when the flush hits. That gives space for block bets on turn/river. Am I right to say its a pretty easy fold if turn/flop is raised after 2/3 / 1/2 block bets are placed respectively. +EV for you... doesnt necessarily mean +bankroll in the short-term unfortunately. Do you understand that I'm agreeing with your point re: raising flop more? |

Re: Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl
I bet 2$ on the flop, and if I get called - have easy check-fold on turn unimproved. As played - fold turn, clear fold river - you beat nothing here, except another ace-high.
I think villain has some sort of middle pair (66-TT), or KJ - JT, because he attacks you after draw missed on turn. It is valuable to know some reads on villain - for example, if he is a passive donk - you can check-check flop if unimproved, or if he is fit-the-flop-type - you can easy fold turn (because he hits his hand). |

Re: Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl
Cbet size is totally fine as long as its consistent with your play. Turn is easy c/f.
