hand 1 is a very good example of when to turn your hand into a bluff - well played.

hand 2 - not a big fan of it, you could very will be up against a monster

i like 2.

the thing about 1 is this: the reason turning made hands into bluffs is cool b/c it often involves you calling in a "draw or weak made hand" sort of way, so when the draw gets there you can turn it into a bluff and they fold a good hand thinking you wouldn't turn the weak made hand into a bluff so you must have hit the draw. this involves calling on some street usually. here you just bet bet bet which means your hand is totally undefined and it might as well be any other bluff.

so having a made hand has nothing to do with it - the real question is whether or not this is a good spot for a bluff and i tend to think it isn't since he expects you to bluff the A, it looks like too big a bet on the river for AK for value so he might call with a T, and he can show up with a big hand himself here very often.

what makes hand 1 good is that his shove doesnt necessarily rep an Ace...it reps a much bigger hand. i mean think about it....i think villain really has to give respect to hero's line here

In hand #1 why bet the turn? As played fine.

Hand #2 can you explain your logic? I never take lines like this and don't really know what you are doing.
