I prefer push preflop/fold preflop. I would call you with a weak flush draw on this flop (and this pot). Even with two overcards.

If you push, there is no chance to fold out anything. By calling and then shoving on any flop, you may push out a bigger pair should overcards flop or deny someone with overcards the chance to see a full board against you, especially someone who has two overcards to your pair, but not two overcards to the board. That said, I prefer to stop-and-go out of the BB instead of the SB since I get to close the action and know that the pot will definately be heads up. If the BB cals or shoves behind your preflop call, its a really aweful spot for you. I'm a big fan of the stop and go when the right situation presents, but it may be a bit FPS for a 24 where most players who would make that preflop raise have a calling range of 100% of their raising hands on 100% of flops |
