i think he should be calling with his whole range here that has sd value. unless hes seen you flat drawy flops with monsters before i think this is horrible. you have air at least 33% of the time imo.

this is why i did it against someone i perceive to be a thinking player

actually thinking about this more, i think i like it. ur stack is the right size that u dont have to raise to get all in by river, if it were to go 1 bet each street. if you have a set the money is obv going in so might as well see if he wants to fire another barrel with air before raising and this is such a god awful spot to bluff. i dont think he should be calling with anything he can have given turn action now that i think about it more. nh ~~ pm me results plz.

and to Kiwi AQ != showdown value.

Pretty much disagree with this, the flop isnt that drawy for a 3bet pot. How many people bluff the river for ~150bb? Thats a pretty sick move honestly.

If you have not been out of line at all and dont have much history I like it. I mean thats a pretty sick call to make with AK on the river for him. I doubt he folds AA though just bc its AA, still a crap spot with AA though. Idk I like it, if he was really strong, hes probably c/ring that turn. I think he folds a large portion of the time. Would he make a looser call with QQ/JJ on the turn? I really like this play man, its just so hard for him to call with anything. I mean hes probably not 3betting you that light UTG so he cant have 2 pr or anything.

this is pretty close to my thought process, after he c/c the turn he pretty much never has better than AK in my estimation, and i think the river is a tough call with AK.

logic there is, preflop probably isnt profitable without some floats. This board can get scary fast, and a flat call should slow him down a lot, he also tends to be pretty passive on turn/river from what ive seen, and its an easy fold to a dbl barrel unless i hit gin.

I pretty much hate this in a 3-bet pot. You couldn't ask for a less threatening board and if he was going to believe you he would have folded on the turn.

are you a troll?

No, a-hole. But I won't be responding to you any more. Plonk.

That was my first thought too when I read that stupid post. What lead you to believe that he's calling the river with his whole calling range?

He has TT-QQ here very often. He folds them to a shove very often because lol NL200 is easy. NH OP.

Yeah, I like this. He's obviously calling AK on the river, but you get folds from enough hands I think.

I think this is actually a bad thing for you.

Also I dont think AK is a hard call for him I think it's a pretty easy one.

QQ/JJ is prolly enough of his range for this to be ok though.
