He's not a calling station. Post flop he's raising a lot of bets, he's just a station pre flop.

Yeah i agree, some of those guys pay of easier if you bet the turn, often they think 'omg hes taking a stab at pot, i have to raise any 2'. Or they call you down lighter or whtaever.

If he loves bluffing why is it a tough spot when he raises your cbet?

So you checked the flop on a board that he's going to think totally whiffed you?

My point is that he will fold to a lot of aggression, and he'll put a ton of money in to not very much aggression. So why push KK so hard here when I can get him to put a lot of money in as a dog or not lose as much if he caught something big?

As played, what do you guys do?

He likes bluffing as aggressor and folds to an all in a lot.

If you c bet flop and he raises, do I shove? He only calls with a better hand (probably), because he likes bluffing as aggressor and folds to an all in a lot. So my goal is to get him to put money in behind, or to not have to pay as much to see a hand I'm beat by. If $100 is an iffy call, then c betting would probably make this a $200 all in and even harder call?

Honestly, checking this flop against the described player is TERRIBLE. Bet the flop, build a pot. You don't have to do all the betting, but you should at least get it going in order for him to make some larger mistakes. He's going to raise this flop SOOOOO often.
Worrying about pot control or trying to pick off bluffs here is just stupid.

So you're ready to call off your stack here no matter how it's played out?

As played I fold the river.

Like I said, my standard line would be to bet flop, call his flop raise that's coming like 75% of the time, then check raise AI most turns (including this one). Pot control against these type of players is retarded.

Grunch.

Wrong strategy, dude. Wrong opponent, wrong hand, and wrong board to trap. Just keep betting and don't fold.

Yeah, I'm willing to stack off on most boards w/o an A when I have KK against an idiot. I'd fold this river most likely, because he'd probably bluff small if he had nothing.

And he might have hit that flop hard, and been slow playing, since if your read is accurate he'd likely bet the flop with nothing.
