Ok, I'm going to post the hand (I think I've got it right and you can correct me if I'm wrong).

Flop (as OP said) AA2 w/ 1[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] check, bet, call.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] check, bet, call.

River: Another[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] bet,RAISE,re-raise,call.

Villain had K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

hmm...

maybe there was a 3flush

i do not remember and thought he mucked

but for the focus of this post its mainly for the turn

is it better to c/r the turn or just call and donk the river?

Oh, you must've been REALLYexcited, lol!!!! Pardon me (I can't help myself) but hahahahahahaha.....

You didn't notice him raise? Oy vey! Yeah, there was a 3-flush and he showed his hand. Lots of ppl do that by way of justifying their play and showing what a beat they took.

Anyway, against most of them I'd just c/r the turn. Sometimes they fold, most times they call. Once you get to know the players you'll generally know who'll do what.

Again: Nothing personal about the hahaha part but I've got to get my yucks where I can these days because I can not win a hand, I can not win a hand, I can not win a hand..........

I can understand the flop c/c, but when he bets the turn, he likes his hand enough not to fold so you really should c/r it.

Rather than be worried about "losing your customer" you should be more concerned about getting value out of your hand. If he did indeed have AK/AQ you might get in 4 bets on the turn.

Donk/3-betting the turn is also a viable option as c/c, donk looks weak and just usually invites a raise as most semi-literates view it as a bet/fold move. If you play like that when you're taking a shot, you'll lose some of the positive variance.

Probably better to c/r-4bet this turn.

Seriously, against your average retard you need to take a line that gets more bets into the pot. If they folded JJ and the like in these spots we should probably play it like you did, but they don't, period.

on the subject of WA/WB lines...

does anyone play AK here the same way?

lets say the typical line i take is c/c c/c b/f
if i throw AK in the mix doing c/c c/c b/3b

would that make it less likely my opponent will bluffraise me on the river
since he knows i may b/3b here and i can b/f with other hands more often

or is it better to just c/c c/c b/c with typical WA/WB hands
if i know villian is capable of bluffraising the river

and not to add anything in the mix to deter him from bluffraising

You need to save these lines for decent players and guys you play against a ton. Against standard live idiots, you need to explode much earlier with your big hands, even if they're obvious. These guys love to payoff and you're throwing away value by not doing so. Also don't forget that in these cases your monster hands are better than their potential monster hands and you're missing opportunities to get 4 bets in on the turn with them drawing very thin much more often than you.
