if you can put him on 22 or 33, call lol hes going to snap call any raise on the river though if you try to get cute

If he wanted to take the pot away from you, he most likely does it on the flop. It's often some mediocre hand trying to get value, instead of overs giving up. Not giving him $$$ when he has mediocre hand > protecting from overs.

when some mediocre 28/12 type minraises you from OOP, then checks this dry flop, I would bet that he very often has a big hand. So as tempting as it is to bet, I think checking is the right play. As played, river is a fold imo.

If you have some kind of read that he can minraise with a somewhat wide range, then obviously everything changes. I usually give him credit for a big hand the first time though.
