actually I just thought of this, although I think it has been suggested before. got to fulltiltpoker.exe in the "program files/fulltilt poker" folder,
right click on the file, properties, and go to "compatability" tab and set it to nt4.0 or win98 or something, because that will disable directx for fulltilt. on my computer there's a green blob by each players name, so it's not as pretty, but should be less resouce intensive. anyway something to play around with.

the directx settings have a slider for optimum performance or optimum good looking, set all way to performance.
