[/ QUOTE ] Call with a decent hand on the flop that hasn't really gotten there yet but has potential just to see what villian does on the turn. People often do it when they know villian is c-betting 100% of the time, with the intention of taking the pot on the turn when they expect a check. I agree with Kneeco here. This hand is really player dependant, so if you felt its right that's fine but it doesn't sound like this guy would tangle with you without at least a decent hand here. He opened from EP, and called your rr (and you say he probably knows you don't rr light). Yet he's still choosing to be aggressive. Unless he's gone nuts, he probably has you beat. |

I think this is ok. Many people don't realize that this is actually a semi-bluff (rather than a straight bluff). You likely have 6 outs to the best hand if villain calls with TP or an overpair.
Edit: Which is why it is better that you do this w/AK than say 77 or TT. |
