Blind against Blind, on the short stack
Full Tilt Poker $24+2, $14k Guaranteed, Double Stack (3000 starting chips), 6-Max.
720 Entries Blinds: 80/160 About an hour and a half into the tournament 2260 chips (3rd to last with 207 players remaining) Villain has 18045 Everyone folds to me in the SB Hero 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I decided to call because the last 2 orbits everyone had folded to me and I pushed all in on his BB and he mucked both times. I didn't want to get looked up by a even larger range. Villain checks. Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero Bets 250 Villain Calls 250 Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot is now 860. I have 1850 in my stack. Whats the play? The big blind has been playing pretty tight but got a hold of some chips with quads just recently. I do not feel like he has an Ace here. I doubt he would call on the flop with Ace high. Also, he probably would have raised me preflop with an Ace in my hand. My read is that he has a King, maybe a pair of 9s. Hero bets 700 Villain calls 700 What do I put him on here? Is he slowplaying a big hand? Is he "slowplaying" a King? Does he have some sort of draw? Now the next question is: What is my play on the river? River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I have 1150 in my stack and the pot is now 2260. I would assume the only play here is all in, right? |
