Why do you think Hero (aka villain) would call the flop raise with air? He certainly has a pocket pair at worst.

Also, if you're going to do this, at least make their hand XX, hard not to be results oriented and tell you to bet the turn to price yourself in staring at a set. However, given that villain is playing that set so slow, he might just call anyway. Does a $9 bet fold anything out ever?

Why are we wanting him to fold, we have a set on the flop. This is micro this guy could have QK, AK, suited connectors, any PP. If he has set over set are you going to fold that on the flop. Why not reraise the flop instead of letting him possibly draw out on you.

Nah the flop line works perfectly - tested and proven [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I was not sure about the turn though, as I tried differnt things before and leading usually makes them fold.

Person with set (whoever that is) screwed up huge on the turn by not betting. Person with flush draw played it relatively well given he got to the river for free, but only because person with set played badly. What is the actual question?????

if hero's calling that large of a flop raise with just a FD i cant imagine him folding to a shove on the turn. so if i was villain and had a small pair or something im done with the hand now you've called the flop.

i'd rather you just pushed the flop, yea he'lll prolly fold but he could easily call with some sort of draw or K. this flop could easily have hit him.

You're going to get called just about never I think. I don't think you'll get raised or called with a $9 bet with air(this is contrary to what i said before, but I thought you were on the button then). If you're looking for another raise maybe try the $3.75 bet again and really try to look like a donkey?

The bigger bet (in $ amounts, not relative to the pot) on the turn indicates you really don't want to fold even if you have a Flush Draw, so he's only raising if he's found a decent pair by the turn.

Ye.. I actually like this. 3.75 looks good, as I know one fishy friend who would do exactly this on a flush draw. I try this next time.
