Re: A more debateable triple check line
im finding that in spots like this, increasingly on the turn people dont give up on the river with their bluffs, and at the same time people are getting better at making valuebets on the river here if they happen to have AJ.
so, its harder to make justification to calling turns with plans on folding river some % of the time. this can even get extended to the flop when ur handrange is fairly transparent even to a newer player. basically what im saying is, timex is right |

Re: A more debateable triple check line
if ur plan was to c/c on turn i think its much better to lead out hand plays pretty easy pretty much after that regardless of what he does.

Re: A more debateable triple check line
flop i usually never fold to an unknown. turn sometimes fold but since we beat some of the weaker ax hands that he will check back on river i don't mind a call w/ a9. river i pretty much always fold, ur not gonna see a worse hand getting vbet or a triple barrel bluff in a limped pot very often.

now here, I'm either folding the turn or the river, which has a lot to do with the fact that it's a 4 way pot, you have an ace and he doesn't care. [/ QUOTE ] It does seem like you are saying pretty clearly that you have a medium ace and he is still firing..........the fact that he triple bluffed u earlier makes this even easier to fold I should think? The thought being he either has to be super bad to try again or really good. I probably just throw em in on turn and am not too upset about it. |
