When I make hummus, it's a little grainy right after I make it. But then if I leave it in the fridge overnight, it gets smooth.

I think the better hummus is pretty smooth and not as thick as a brand like Athenos (though I still like that). I prefer plain hummus (mostly garlic and lemon flavored). You're in Boston, right? There's some good places to get some hummus there. Shwarma King in coolidge corner is my favorite.

I used to think the same, but found out that hummus is awesome.

I'm a Trader Joe's fan and they have a bunch of great flavors. Regular hummus is okay, but some of the flavored stuff is really good.

Pita Chips + Hummus > Chips + Salsa healthwise and not too far behind in taste.

Try dipping w/ baby carrots or peppers. I'm a fan of the Athenos brand you can find in your grocery store.

Yeah.. regular chips in hummus is a little weird. Pita and carrots are the only things I'll dip in hummus. Other than that it's on a sandwich or falafel wrap or something.

Is it just me, or has Tostitos doubled the amount of salt on their chips in the past few years? It's insane how much salt is on those motherf'ers and I don't remember it always being that way.
