Ae, But there's practically zero chance that he ever 3bets with a hand we beat and there are plenty of worse hands he can call with. Anyway, that's my reasoning for raising the turn. Could you explain to me what's wrong with that and/or why your line is better? [/ QUOTE ] i dunno, i like to get to the river and make decisions there. we also get bluffs obv again that we lose when we raise it, and random [censored], sinec he's bad. |

Re: Deep 3/6 HU decision
It's probably best to raise now for value. From your description it sounds like he isn't going to bluff you. Also, he may be tempted to call if he's got the Kc or Ac based off the fact that you are deep... but we already know we aren't paying that off.

Re: Deep 3/6 HU decision
so the answers are split (tho i know which side im more in agreement with).
For those who want to call, how do you proceed on each of the following river cards IF he checks to us: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Oh, and those who want to raise, assume villain calls and checks river on each of these cards. Your move? |

Re: Deep 3/6 HU decision
i'd raise turn to $175-$200.
Then I'd raise the first 3 of those big for value. If a 4th club comes, then I just check behind. A straightfoward donk is not going to call unless he has a flush with 4 clubs out there. Straightfoward donks also don't checkraise rivers, so it makes them very easy to play as when he checks river you're ahead almost always. Unfortunately, sometimes the idiot will check/call a flush, but you still have to bet there. |

Re: Deep 3/6 HU decision
Agreed w/ many of the replies. Raise it up, vb safe river, fold to a re-raise.
