Playing on a site that allows Americans is a very stupid move if you can do otherwise. The reason for this is NOT that Americans are better players, but that nearly all the American fish stopped playing online entirely when the UIGEA was passed, whereas all the solid players (e.g. 2+2ers) simply switched sites.

This is the reason why sites that allow Americans are so much tougher.

no Americans @ party....so what do you think?

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't know if you mean americans are good or bad

Neither. Just that the good American players are more likely to go through the hassles required to gamble online while the American fishies are more likely less hardcore and play offline. The UIGEA effect.

Edit added: Looks like DMoogle posted faster than me to answer the question.

Sigh.
Another thread of posters who haven't been able to play at party post ban, but assume that the site remained unchanged when it lost half of its customers.

Reality check:
There is now very little difference in the softness of low stakes NL cash games of Party, and the American sites.
I can't speak for higher limits.

Sng's are softer at Party though.

Just wait until the recent German legislation comes into effect in Jan. 2008, and the same process will probably happen with Party...

The low limit ($0.50/$1 & $1/$2) Party games are incredibly nitty - table average of 16% are the norm in Full ring games. I choose to play Full Tilt as the games are genuinely better (and for another obvious reason).

There is no doubt in my mind that Canadians are the worst players I have ever seen.
