Re: NL 50 QQ river decision
I disagree, I see a lot of mid pocket pairs calling down here, especially if they're calling stations as it is. The K makes it interesting, but I don't think his call is that defining.

Re: NL 50 QQ river decision
I'd make a $12 value bet on the river.
CHecking behind on the turn is ok, so is betting. |

Re: NL 50 QQ river decision
betting 12 commits you to calling the rest of his stack. I don't like it. Any value bet almost forces you to call his shove given that he only started w/ $33. I would just check behind and hope he didn't spike a king on the turn

[/ QUOTE ] Betting doesn't force you to call anything. $2 went in PF, 3 on the flop, 6 on the turn. THat totals $11 leaving him with $22. If you bet 12 and he shoves the pot is 22+12+22=54 giving you 4.5:1 on a call. You're only committed to calling a shove if he is capable of bluffing or CRing AT that often. He's a station. Let him do what he does best and call your river bet. |

Re: NL 50 QQ river decision
I check the turn and value bet the river. I dont like a turn bet because on this board no worse hand will call.
