Why do you think checking the flop is a good idea Casper?

[/ QUOTE ]because the only hand we are getting value from is JJ and I don't want to get bluffed off the better hand. I'd be more likely to bet without the Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I think

i call and say thanks for the chips AdKd

You'd be a slight underdog in this situation. Might not want to thank him for the chips until after the river on this one.

i understand your point, but imo regardless of whether her holds the Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] this guy's stats make me want to check behind.

This flop call looks awful to me:

Board: 5d Td 4h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 38.937% 36.55% 02.39% 7237 472.50 { QdQs }
Hand 1: 61.063% 58.68% 02.39% 11618 472.50 { JJ+, AdKd, KdQd }

[/ QUOTE ]

I have a hard time believing KQ[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is in villain's range... 3.8 pfr? That drops us a few % more.

Even if we add every single suited no-gap diamond connector to villain's range we still have only 40% pot equity.

[/ QUOTE ]

you realize we should call the cr if we know we're 40% right?

I don't like preflop very much. I'd probably call one bet but not two. Tho I doubt I would ever call preflop.
