i think he has 33 or 66

Why would anyone check a full house on the river?

[/ QUOTE ]

Your hand looks like a draw to villian and all draws missed, so checking a FH here is very possible IMO with hopes that you bluff. I think you are beat here almost always, since I think if he doesn't have much he's betting the river or check/calling depending on how strong he is.

Are you guys kidding. How can anyone NOT check a full house after hero checks turn. Either hero raised flop light and isnt calling a VB, or he has a hand that he will call a VB with, but also bet himself if checked to...

[/ QUOTE ]

You really think he checks air to you on the river with the intention of bluffing all in if you bet? That's absurd. You're basically never winning here and I fold to the raise without a second thought.

I don't get your statements. Seems like a contradiction to me. You fear 3 betting preflop because you feel that you don't want to play a big pot but then you go ahead and raise the flop.

Explain.

Ok thanks for the replies just had to vent because I thought villain was totally retarted to stack off 200bb in this spot with JJ to my river c/r after checking the turn behind indicating he never has 2p(river boat)/straight so I made a rather easy check/instashove with AcKc. [censored] monkeys.

Do not make live players fold overpairs on the river when there's missed draws. The fact you already got caught bluffing a busted draw doesn't help your cause here, either.

No we just were 200bb deep. I always just press the pot button when raising preflop.
