this is horrific.

pick one of the three decisions that was made, tell me why it was a mistake, give me a rough estimate of how much $ev was wasted, and tell me the better play to make. please.

Fold when SB shoves. Gir - where the hell do come up with those ranges? For both players they are far to wide. 42o, J8o, QJo???

Yeah...I'm new to 'the stove'.

I think you never are ahead here.
I fold flop (after SB pushes).

wout doing any ranges i can say w confidence that you are at best a 5 out dog to one person, possible less outs and a huge dog to both

Just taking a look at the action and seeing what went down, it looks like an absolute trainwreck. However, both decisions are pretty close IMO.

I would say TPTK is a favorite against the initial leader's range considering he is 45/25 and could be leading a bunch of draws or mid pairs protecting against draws. However, with the TAG coldcaller left to act behind you, it is probably a fold. You would just hate to see UTG take this pot down with that flop lead.

Do you think SB coldcalls AK, AQ, TT? If yes, then his range isn't so polarized toward big pairs and you aren't as worried about him raising AI on flop, prob pushing it towards a call. If he doesn't, it's probably a fold.

On to the decision of overcalling. Here are some ranges I came up with and your equity against them:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 22.790% 22.06% 00.73% 140899382 4676133.50 { AcJh }
Hand 1: 54.304% 53.53% 00.78% 341906633 4972155.00 { KK-JJ, AsKs, AsQs }
Hand 2: 22.906% 21.99% 00.92% 140439114 5877946.50 { QQ-TT, 44, 22, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, KsQs }

This doesn't take into account that fact that Hand1 is more likely to be a big pair. I would say he coldcalls with big pairs more often than with AK,AQ, but still it's actually pretty close.

You need .2089 equity to break even.

I was really ready see QQ or KK that trapped me, but as it turned out the SB had AsKs and the other guy had 9s7s and my hand held up. </font>
