I think 4 big bets sounds about right between turn and river with this hand and that board. If you think you can count on him to never cap the turn without having you crushed, i'd 3bet and lead the river. If you aren't sure, i think calling and bet/calling the river might be ok too.

yeah, I was confused at the time, so I went for a call and tried for a c/r on a river 7, which seemed the perfect card for it, unfortunately he checked behind with pQ, which really surprised me

I'd never check behind queens in villains spot and I think he had a stupid easy bet there, but like I said, he surprises me sometimes

just wanted to see what you guys would do
