Does the book focus more on the mindset of your opponents, or on your own mindeset?

It works on both your mind-set and your opponent's mind-set. It talks about how you should react in many situations, in accordance to your opponent. It talks about reading hands in certain situations. At first, it appears to be an intermediate book, but as time goes on and you take more readings, it becomes more advanced. Feeny took a ton of pride in this book, and it is one of very few books, that I could think of that has no mistakes.

If you are taking this game seriously you need to buy all those books and read them over and over.

Agree with your statement. It's a little amusing to see people ask whether they should buy or refrain from buying a 2+2 book. It can never be a very wrong decision to buy any 2+2 book, provided you aren't going to try to use it in a game where its strategies don't apply. The quality of the writing and analysis is just too high.
