Default Re: NL50 KK facing flop shove

Over pricing a club or straight draw is what produces +EV in the long run, despite some people hitting their cards. So in that case, he wanted the call.

I think we are ahead on the flop here and should call. Thats just me.

Folding the set in lieu of a club draw, again, calling here has a +EV no matter what. Some of his outs are giving a boat, and most of the time the set will hold.

#1 You are behind on the flop. And he doesn't want a call,,,,
his worse fear is that he prices in your club or str8 draw if he raises too little. The only hand that you hold that worries him is QQ.... small part of your range., not inconsequential tho.

#2 We pegs you as WeakTight with QQ and HE has the club draw. You've got 176BB... some WTs will fold top set when they get deep..... some. NOT A VERY LIKELY SITUATION as I think this is fairly advanced for 50NL. This is MUCH more possible 50NL if he can place you on AA or KK.

A. I bet more on this flop. Almost mandatory unless you are going to c/f.

B. I fold the push here a little more than 100%.

I think just about EVERYTHING you said is completely wrong.

1) Why are we behind? IF we are behind, you're saying he DOESN'T want us to call?
2) Fold top set? Seriously, was your whole post a joke? BBV is the place for that you know.

EDIT: I looked up some of your other posts. Do you give horrible advice on purpose?

I seriously doubt he has a set. AcKc would be his most likely hold. It sucks to be deep, but I think we must call.

#1 If we are behind on the flop, why WOULDNT he want a call? I can see someone steam shoving AA or KK here though....

#2 I don't think anyone is weak tight enough to fold any set here, especially QQ, This makes no sense to me!

A: Betting $10.5 into a $13 isnt standard??? I'd have to disagree...

His aggression factor is at 4.5, for full ring that seems rather big to me. How much should that sway me more towards a call?
