Re: flush on paired board
Yeah, I don't think the turn call is especially awful, as long as you expect him to bet the river most times. River shove is obv as everyone else said.

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] co is 30/12/4.5 but is probably self taught and plays like a bad lag postflop. he overplays his hands and pays off lightly. [/ QUOTE ] i think this is reason to raise on the turn and get called by AxXc [/ QUOTE ] it's really not much of an advantage to have a raise called by AxXc. i want 2 bets vs that hand and i'm essentially guaranteed one on the river after i just call the turn, whether a club comes or not. if i raise the turn and get called by AxXc, he probably won't call a river shove unless he has 2 pair or maybe the Tc |

Re: flush on paired board
I bet the flop without the nut draw. Lets take it with Q high if we can, and if we get called or raised thats fine, we just win more when we get there.
The rest looks good to me. (oh and welcome back |

A turn raise looks really weird here. |

Re: flush on paired board
i think flop bet and turn raise are option but not necessities. turn call is especially good if the sb with lots of hands he is drawing dead with. river is obv ez shove, worse flushes, ax, maybe even worse stuff is paying off. your line is probably pretty trixy from his pov and given description he's definitely not giving you a lot of credit.
