GL edge. I'm in a similar situation although I never played as high (or as well) as you regularly. It's not so bad. Honestly when you think of the money to be made at 2/4 it's pretty awesome still.

this [censored] happens to me every time i go on a big breakeven/downwswing, youll get through it. my remedy is to drop down to 3/6nl for 3 days or so, all the players are so much worse than high stakes players, then when your confidence is up, you'll find the bigger games way more beatable.

300k hands doesn't seem like that much. not trying to be a jackass, just saying i think the "grinding" aspect of actualy putting in 50k hand months at 2-4 really helped me.

You have big downswings?
Seriously, the only time i see your graphs is when you win rediculoys amounts of money and pwned everybody.

Oh, forgot to add, Gl, Edge!
No shame in moving down, in fact, you should commend yourself for realising that instead of going busto.

Hi Edge,

Try playing some 2/4 and 3/6 for some times nad experiment with as many things as possible. Try sessions without preflop raises, session with raising to 2bb, session with raising to 6BB. Always second barreling, never second barreling, checking top pair behind on the flop etc etc. Its all cheap and is fantastic for understanding how people play/react and give you great perspective on the game.
You will probably win anyway whatever you try so some money will come along and morale will be higher as well

Edge, I experienced (and am still experiencing) the same exact thing as you, except at stakes orders of magnitude lower. My bankroll is the lowest it has ever been, I'm playing lower than I have in an eternity, I constantly feel like I'm just grasping at the right play. I find myself getting more and more frustrated with my game and my results.

Not that this means anything to you, or that you even know who I am, but we're in the same boat. Well, ok, similar boats. I have found some big leaks recently, and am looking for others. I know I can beat the game if I can manage to put ego aside, unlearn bad habits and relearn how to play the pokar.
